Situated close to Kruger National Park and the Pafuri Gate, Popallin enjoys a delightful riverside setting and 10 000 hectares of pristine bushveld with free roaming Big Five game, in Limpopo, South Africa.
Located on the Zimbabwe Border in Limpopo, South Africa, Popallin Safari Ranch overlooks the Limpopo and Nwanedzi Rivers. There is a dam on the property for boating activities, a golf course of 4 000 metres with 9 holes and 18 tees and a Venda Cultural Village, nearby is the biggest tree in Africa.
The ranch is 60 km (37 miles) from the Pafuri Gate of Kruger National Park, and regular game drives are offered on full day excursions from Popallin which is also home to the Big Five game. Popallin is also involved in a white Lion and disease-free Buffalo breeding programme.
This area is also very good for 4x4 trails over 35km (22 miles) of mixed terrain and quad biking, both offered by Popallin and there are excellent guided walks on the property and by the river. Horseback riding is also a popular activity.

Self-Drive
Travellers can reach the ranch in about 6 hours from Johannesburg on the N1 highway. Diesel and petrol pumps are available on the property.
Transfers
Preferred transfer suppliers are arranged from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and Polokwane Airport to Popallin.
Fly-In
Guests who wish to fly-in should first obtain permission from Popallin Safari Ranch Management to use the private airstrip next door, which can accommodate aircraft up to a King Air.
