From Johannesburg
From Johannesburg, drive east along the N4 passing Witbank and Middleburg. Turn left onto the R540 at Belfast. From Belfast, continue through Dullstroom to Lydenburg. From Lydenburg, take the R36 to Ohrigstad. Stay on this road and pass through the Strijdom Tunnel.
Continue along this road for about 29km (8.01 miles) until you see a sign for Swadini / Orpen. Turn right at this sign and continue along the road for about 32km (19.88 miles). Turn left at the sight for Orpen and drive for another 2.5km (1.55 miles) until you see the sign for Guernsey Private Nature Reserve.
Go through the control gate and drive for about 8.5km (5.28 miles) until you see the Guernsey Private Nature Reserve sign on your right. Turn inside here and drive for another 2km (1.24 miles) to the reserve gate. Follow the signs to Pezulu Tree House Lodge.
