Fahad Game Reserve is situated just 60km (37.2 miles) north of Ellisras-Lephalale and the Waterberg Mountains. This private game reserve comprises of over 15 000 hectares of spectacular African bushveld and is located in the malaria free province of Limpopo, South Africa.
Directions to Fahad Game Reserve Lodges
Drive on the N1 North towards Polokwane until you reach the Kranskop Toll Gate (third gate after Pretoria). Take the left hand exit to Nylstroom/Modimolle and drive through the town on the Vaalwater road. Drive through Vaalwater.
About 2km (1.2 miles) outside the town at the Spar supermarket and garage, turn on the Ellisras-Lephalale road. Just before Ellisras-Lephalale you will end up at a T-junction. Turn right there and drive through Ellisras. Stay on this road, which leads to Stockpoort (R510).
Pass the Martin's Drift/Swartwater turn-off and carry on for about 3km (1.7 miles) until you find the first 'Uitspan' turn-off to your right. Go pass this turn-off and carry on towards the second Uitspan road (45km (27.9 miles) from Ellisras).
Turn right onto the gravel road and follow the road until you have reach the required gate. Five kilometres (3.1 miles) down the gravel road at gate F05 is Leopard's Rest Lodge. Twenty kilometres (12.4 miles) down gravel road, at gate F14 is Babala Lodge. Or 25km (15.5 miles) down the gravel road is gate F20, which takes you to Twin River Lodge.
