Eagle's Nest Lodge is located in the 22 000 hectare Entabeni Game Reserve, Limpopo, South Africa. This area is home to South Africa's Big Five and a diverse range of African wildlife. The Entabeni Game Reserve is situated in the Waterberg region surrounded by majestic mountains, springs and rock pools.
Guests can access Eagle's Nest Lodge easily by road or air. Entabeni game Reserve boasts it's own private airstrip. The flight from Johannesburg will take about 35 minutes. Guests can also drive from Johannesburg.
Directions to Entabeni Game Reserve
From Johannesburg
Take the N1 North Highway from Johannesburg / Pretoria to Polokwane (previously Pietersburg). Continue along the N1 through the Carousel and Kranskop Tollgates. Travel another 32km (19.88 miles) and take the Mookgopong (Naboomspruit) R101A exit (Route 289).
Drive for about 8km (4.97 miles) to Mookgopong and turn left at the second traffic intersection in the town centre (R520). Continue for about 11km (6.83 miles) until you reach a T-junction. Turn left and then turn right at the Marken sign a short distance further.
Stay on the tar road for about 24km (14.91 miles). The road will then become a gravel road. Continue for another 21.5km (13.35 miles) until you see the Entabeni Game Reserve sign on your right. Turn right and drive for about 3.3km (2.05 miles) on the dirt road until you reach the security gate.
