Guided walks, horseback game viewing and game drives are the activities you can do to get a closer look at the animals. The herd of 30 horses is made up of big thoroughbreds, Arab-boerperd crosses and some fabulous childrens ponies.

There's no beating an early morning 3 hour ride, culminating in a delicious bush breakfast overlooking the plains of Africa. You can ride as much or as little as you like, combining this experience with other activities.
For those who prefer a two legged safari, Ant and Tessa will expertly guide you through the bushveld on foot. These walks are informative and interactive, enabling you to glean the knowledge that Ant and Tessa have of the flora, fauna and animals that live on the reserve.
Learning to read and recognise the tracks of the many species that inhabit the reserve is a thrilling experience. These walks can be in the form of a gentle morning / afternoon stroll or for the more energetic, serious hiker, can cover the plains and traverse the hillsides, covering the wide variety of topography here at Ant's Nest.
A wonderful option for those who find themselves a little foot or saddle sore. A great way of seeing the bush, is from the comfort of an open 4x4 land cruiser. Let Ant take you up the mountainsides or down into the valleys viewing game in a more sedate manner.
